Washington day 2

Due to the previous day's crowd and inability to get into the Holocaust Museum we thought we'd get there early. Sunday morning can't be busy!

Two long queues greeted us but we got in after a relatively short wait. Had a quick look around but hated the crowds. Got out, had lunch and then walked home beside the river. Got a little lost but it was a beautiful day.

Seems there was snow last week so we've been lucky. There's some cherry blossom out but it's late due to their severe winter. Apparently they're well known for the cherry blossom.

Heather caught up with an old friend so we joined her and her partner for dinner then they gave us a night tour. Monuments were even busy with people at 9pm.
